Show your support posted 08/26/10	Inmate Salim will be appearing before Judge Batts in U.S. District Court at 2:30 PM at the Federal Courthouse at 500 Pearl Street, NY, NY 10007. Inmate Salim viciously attacked our member, Correctional Officer Pepe on November 1, 2000, at the Metropolitan Correctional Center. Officer Pepe was seriously injured in the attack and has been unable to return to work due to his injuries, but remains an active member of our Lodge. This hearing will determine the final sentence inmate Salim will receive for this attack. We encourage our membership to attend the hearing in a show of support for Officer Pepe.
